I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Elizabeth Barnhill. She has been working with my family for years and, as a first-time home buyer, made my closing process painless and stress-free. In addition, she was in constant contact with my realtor and mortgage lender, fully prepared ahead of closing, responsive, and detail-oriented -- taking the time to explain every document during the closing, which made all the difference.

I've used Elizabeth three times and she's fantastic. Once at closing, she literally pulled me and my wife aside and said, "Your agent is wrong and you shouldn't close today until they address these issues." Thank God she did that as the seller addressed the issues pronto and we closed the next day. So thankful for her!

You try and give folks a fighting chance but when you give them rope enough to hang themselves... you have Gilbert & Barnhill. Closing was scheduled, rescheduled, then rescheduled again as the closing attorney couldn't get back on a plane from her vacation. Sounds a lot like our fault. After finally getting to closing table, we signed to have them payoff with the proceeds our Home Equity Line. This never happened. After receiving a late notification via email i called and the response was, oh they just never sent it.... WHAT?!?!?!?! THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!! If they are a choice by your realtor, please look elsewhere. This place will let you down.

We have used these fine, folks three times in the last 10 years, they are always efficient and helpful I also believe their pricing is competitive, I highly recommend them

My worst experience with an attorney ever. I emailed Ms. Barnhill, no reply. So I called, was told by assistant they were very busy and it would be a couple of months before they could help me. My re-title work was not urgent so I said OK. Three months go by, I email, no reply. I call, different assistant said she would check and call me back. No call back. So I emailed and said maybe I needed to look for someone else to help me. No response. I would definitely look elsewhere.
