I found out two weeks ago that my wages were going to be garnished for the balance owed on a car I had 6 years ago. Let me add that 6 years ago I was in a car accident which my insurance company said the car was a total loss. My insurance company paid $4000.00 to the lender which is what the blue book value on the car. I never heard anything from the lender after they received their check. If it wasn’t for my employer get the court documents I would have never known about the garnishment because I had no communication from Glasser and Glasser. The court documents have an address to a house I haven’t lived in since 1999 and when I called to see what was going on I was told that was the address I used when I applied for the car and once I informed them that wasn’t true the young lady on the phone said oh I meant another address that I haven’t lived at in almost 6 years. I asked if we could work out a deal and was told they needed my income information and I said I will need to get that for you the young lady said oh give us a callback when you have it. I did just that and I haven’t been able to reach anyone on the phone and I have also sent emails on their website but I still haven’t heard anything back from them. They are taking $464.00 out of my check biweekly. Did I mention the count documents had February of 2023 on them but wasn’t received by the court until February of 2024. This company is terrible and are it taking peoples money without any notice.

I have worked for Glasser and Glasser over 20 years. They believe in doing business the right way, for the right reason. They treat everyone with respect no matter if you have a civil debt or a debt owed to the courts. I'm happy to say I work here. There are many of us here for many years. This would not be possible if this firm was as bad as some of these reviews indicate.

I found out 2 years after I was in an accident and total lost a car, that there was a balance still owed by a garnishment. No communication before the garnishment. They took $490 of my check every two weeks for 6 months. Then I received 4 checks back. So at this point I’m assuming the debt was paid, not knowing until a few weeks ago that after a year they have added $4000 in interest back to it once again. When I finally found out and called about it, I was told I should have called to see if it was paid off. I informed the agent I should have been notified that it wasn’t and they have not tried to collect in anyway. I was basically told “oh well”! I tried to set up a payment arrangement and was told it would take 24/48 hours and it’s been a week! No return calls and not able to get anyone on the phone! This balance doesn’t even appear on my credit and was writing off years ago by the auto loan company. Straight Trash!

This place is the worst. You can never get through on the phone. I've had them try to garnish my wages (4) times for the same bill. Agreed to do a settlement but never got a call back. Next thing I get is a court summons in the mail. Called to discuss the matter, spoke to Leanne which was rude and hung up me. They should focus on training their employees on better customer service rather then focusing on dragging people to court.

If you are looking to make payment arrangements for any debts you have, you might as well prepare yourself for wage garnishments that are far more than you can afford. I have tried contacting this company a multitude of times just to have to leave a voicemail and never get a call back. The representatives appear in court and tell you they are willing to work with you, but the reality is, they are not. They are willing to squeeze every penny out of you including garnishing a bonus check for $36.00, and continue to garnish you after garnishments were supposed to have ceased, and blame it on you for "not providing contact information of your employer." This has been the most difficult experience I have ever had with a company, and I cannot say enough bad things about this company. They will steal your money.
