Woke, democrat run city. What do you expect? So glad I live in Lebanon. Our city officials actually care about the citizens they represent.
You CANNOT pay tickets on their website. I got a ticket for overdue registration. The circumstances were sketchy, as officers in Mason seem to run plates and pull people over at random (saw them pull someone at a stoplight over, not 2 whole minutes after pulling me over), so I suspect they have a quota for tickets (which is illegal). However, I was reasonably due a ticket, so I tried to pay my ticket at this court's website, and it not only has a horrendously confusing layout, but it apparently does not work at all. When I revisited the website multiple times and was unable to pay my ticket, I was then charged an additional $50. I still could not pay that online and I don't know how they expect me to. The letter they sent me explicitly said "No Personal Checks", and I can't pay online or over the phone, so unless I go into the court, which according to the other reviews, is abyssmal, I don't know how they expect me to pay them.
I received a speeding ticket from Mason County during a business trip. There is no fine or payment amount on the ticket, so I expected to be mailed a bill. Instead I was mailed a letter of forfeiture and an additional $50 on my $210 ticket. Beyond that- I cannot pay it online now that it's considered late. Late isn't 30 days, late is considered after the court date. This system is designed to screw people over and they make you jump through hoops to find out what you owe, when its due, and how to pay it.
Guilty until proven innocent.... the most unprofessional court I have ever experienced my first time to mason and all I can say is Rico there his hidden fees for everything and knowbody tells you about it the staff here talks to you horribly. I am fighting a misdemeanor charge and have never been in trouble with the law and you would have thought I was a full time criminal the way I was treated here and to sit and watch people treated like an assembly line and extorted for the sole purpose of more money and laughed at was ridiculous and I felt bad. This needs to be looked into and I don’t know why it hasn’t yet
Absolutely the worst. Can't pay speeding ticket online but they'll still mail you a forfeiture letter and add a $50 "convenience fee".
