I've been fighting the VA for years to get my disability. Finally got fed up and hired Greene & Marusak. They did an amazing job! Just can't speak highly enough about this firm. I highly recommend!

In June of 2022 I hired Greene & Marusak. Before hiring them I investigated their firm and read a number of the reviews. I was at 60% disability but hadn't worked for over 2 years. Before hiring them I personally applied for a TDIU claim on my own with the VA. My appeal to get TDIU was not strong because I left a lot of information out and it didn't cover what it should have. Enter John Kent! He recognized that the TDIU that I submitted on my own might hinder the TDIU that they will submit on my behalf. He was right! Because of my missteps and not understanding how the VA worked when submitting certain claims it's slowed down the process for 2 years. John expressed to me that my TDUI claim was by far the longest they ever had to deal with. He told me that normally it would take around 120 days for TDIU claims to be approved. I was approved for TDIU 100% permanent and total approximately 3 weeks ago. I received a lump sum from the VA, but the amount was only dating back one year where they should have brought it back two more years to September 2021. John then explained to me that this happens frequently with the VA, and they know exactly what paperwork to submit to challenge my origination date. He told me that it would take approximately 60 to 90 days to receive the remaining lump sum that I was entitled to. Well, it only took them 2 weeks! LOL They called me yesterday to let me know that the VA approved the lump sum to go back to where I will receive another lump sum within 3 to 4 days. John then called me and we had a good laugh because he said, Mr Judd, you were the longest TDIU claim I've ever had and you were the fastest lump sum appeal to be approved as well. I felt special! LOL All joking set aside. This is a great firm to work with because they are not only professional but half the staff is prior military as well. They get it! But John Kent stands out! Very professional and very intuned as to how the VA works. I think he's been at this for close to 10 years, and it shows. I was frustrated more than once the past 2 years and he knew how to calm me down and give me focus. But even more so, he seems to take a personal approach to his cases. For example, he emailed me a few times on the weekend, which were his days off, to fill me in on things that I needed to know for the upcoming week. Great guy! Great firm!

I reached out to Greene & Marusak for help with my claim. They reviewed and agreed it was valid. They represented me at VBA board hearings and ended up winning my case and insured it was backdated 9 years. They assisted with other claims and eventually got me to 100% P&T.
