I can say without a doubt Travis pulled me from the brink of madness. I filed my own modification and called them when it started to fall apart. Travis helped me sort it and get it all back together. He must have apologized 20 times in the 3 hours for being too harsh. He didn't sugar coat anything and I didn't go to him for a shoulder to cry on. Hes been honest and upfront, a bit brutally honest (its refreshing) and incredibly helpful! Amy has stepped in a bit to help as well and they are genuinely invested in the outcome.

I had the old bait and switch from Travis. He told me in his own words I will need a skirt for this case. Told me that his wife would be there in court with me and he would be doing all the back ground work. First day of court and she wasn't there but he was. nThe other party said that they would provide all transportation and he said no my client would like to meet at a halfway point. (That was not even close to true) He seemed to be owned by the other lawyer. He came in to court with a suit that looked like he slept in. nThe other party had been lying about almost everything and then sent more lies to the GAL and he never tried to defend me to him. His words to me was o the GAL knows you are going to deny that. My question was well shouldn't you have tried? After all I told you I had a witness to it all. He kept telling me that I can't do that and to wear the white hat. Even though I kept saying I wasn't or haven't done anything that was said. nTo top it all off, there was never any prep for the GAL meeting or the court room. Keep your money and go to someone else. If I was able to get back my 5000 dollars I would.

Laura Groves is incompetent, refuses to communicate, refused to respond to emails (all while charging to read them), filed things without letting us know, was a NO SHOW to a SETTLEMENT CONFERENCE, but of course she urged to pay her another 8k to go to trial.. absolutely the biggest waste of 7k. We are not even one step closer to our goal but further thanks to Laura's inefficiency. DO NOT HIRE THESE THIEVES. They are a joke.

Travis Groves is a thief and the worst family law attorney in Tacoma. It would behoove of you to find someone else. Travis is not only incompetent but greedy and will only make your situation worse. The most unprofessional professional I've ever dealt with in my life.
