This attorney is a total crook. He only looks to fatten his pocket and preys on people that are struggling. Do not use this office as it will do nothing to truly help you get anywhere.

I have to echo Sherry's sentiments in regards to the rude demeanor of the lady who answered the phone. I called them for a consult with some serious concerns. First thing she said "Chapter 7 is $3500, you need to pay that before we file". Usually when you call an attorneys office and the first thing they talk about is money, it's a sure sign to run. Besides that I had some serious questions ( I asked some basic questions about the process and she kept repeating herself like a broken record about the Chapter 7 fee and pulling my credit report repeatedly asking for my social security number) they advertise they do phone consults but she kept insisting I come into the office which is an hour from me. On the TV commercials they show a sentiment of compassion but this is far from true. In summary, they care about the almighty dollar and not the client. I would look elsewhere. There are plenty of other Bankruptcy attorneys that are reputable in the Harrisburg area.nnI found the woman that answered the phone to be rude, condescending and an utter *****. Perhaps Mr. Shepley should hire people who actually show some customer service instead of stuck up women who think their sh** don't stink. His commercials are convincing but when you call them you will find a different type of demeanor. nnHope this helps someone.

Jeffrey Ross is the worst attorney ever, took $2300 of my money for a divorce only to drop me a month before the final hearing date, which he neglected to tell me about. I found out about it when it was over and the court mailed me papers saying I didn't appear and the judge would make a ruling and I will have 30 days to appeal it. Fair warning to anyone who is even thinking about Harold Shepley & Associates, you will pay a lot only to be disappointed and have to hire a new attorney to try and fix what they did wrong or didn't even do!! I know there are others that this happened to besides me. Please post about it so others aren't taken advantage of

I am a real estate agent and I would not recommend this firm to anyone. I called for a consultation and the women that answered ( although not a attorney ) was very rude... I will make sure I will never use them.
