Very informative and insightful. Very quick to respond to my email and while unable to assist my case I was sent in the right direction to file my claim. I would suggest anyone who is seeking an attorney to represent them in any employment matters to seek counsel else where and run as far away as possible from these incompetent crooks. They will take your case (and your money) and will go weeks and months without any communication and they will drop the the ball and throw together things at the last minute in order not missdeadlines. My lawyer in particular, Paul Logan, was very unprofessional, absent minded, and was not aggressive in defending my case eventhough he had all of the cards stacked in our favor. He will take on your case, make false promises,then neglect your case, and in the end will tell you that their firm will not proceed in court with your case and pretty much tell you to "do it yourself" Not one time did he meet with me in person (except for the initial consultation where he is over anxious to take your payment). After taking my payment he would dodge my calls and when he would answer, he would be very rude and condescending, not letting me get a word in whatsoever. This man is incompetent and it is amazing that he is even allowed to practice law.

Terrible experience where we were scammed out of a lot of money. We worked with Shannon Melton on a contingency basis. Most people don't know this, and we sure didn't, that if a lawyer works with you on a contingency basis, they can make you responsible for the taxes on ALL of THEIR fees won from the settlement. Because Shannon won both the court fees he charged for on top of his half of the settlement, we had to pay thousands of dollars in taxes FOR HIS FEES. So he kept all the money and paid no taxes on it. Because our lawsuit was for a fairly small amount, we ended up paying almost more in taxes to cover his winnings from the settlement than we got. Upon being awarded the settlement, he informed us that taxes were our responsibility, so he obviously knew this before taking our case. This is clearly unethical behavior on his part. He knew that he could charge the defendant whatever he wanted to be awarded by the court and we would be stuck paying his tax bill for money we never received. If you need a lawyer, go somewhere where they are upstanding and honest. J Haskins lawyers are already making hundreds of dollars per hour, then they use legal loopholes to make their clients pay the thousands in taxes that they owe.

I found John to be incredibly responsive and informative. He took plenty of time explaining our situation and the options available to address the problem . Thank You John.

Do not call for a Consultation from this Law Firm!!!!I I can only assume that from the questions the receptionist asked me "who only wanted specific detail from me" like who my employer was and I told her about my employer who has used untruth statements or defamation of my charter about me this associate called my employer before talking to me !!!! This Attorney was actually cross-examining me with lies from my employer made Please stay away from this type of Attorney .
