In the past five years, I have been in and out of court with my former husband for any and every issue. After Craig Galpern- my former attorney retired, my ex-husband abused the legal system in attempt to ensure I could not retain adequate legal representation with a reputable attorney in Medford. It was a nightmare for 2.5 years, paying full-rates for subpar attorneys that did not get results and I felt my voice was never heard. In desperation I reached out to Rise Law and requested Jamie Hazlett. A good friend of mine knew her personally and pleaded my case. Jamie took my case in spite of not accepting new clients. She was compassionate, attentive, and saw that their was some major un-ethical bulllying going on legally against me with my former and his attorney....The "playing field" was grossly un-equal and needed to be changed for the safety and well-being of my children. She arose to the challenge without hesitation and produced wonderful results! If you are seeking change, or are a parent battling another with more money than you and a high-powered attorney, call Jamie. She is worth every penny and will produce results! I am forever grateful for Ms. Hazlett and what she did for my children and I. I hope more women or men in this situation continue fighting for whats in the child's best interest and have your voices heard- Jamie is a wonderful advocate for this. :)
Throughout my entire experience with Maryanne she was nothing short of amazing in getting the results I had been looking for in a custody case. If you are a parent going through the process and want someone knowledgeable, caring and on your side I seriously doubt there are any better lawyers/people than Maryanne and her staff in the area. At the end of the day, you are going to spend money going to court. I recommend spending your money wisely and hiring this firm to get you through the process - you will not regret it!
When I was beginning the process of choosing representation for my divorce, it was actually recommended to me, more than once, to schedule a consult with Ms. Hazlett, specifically with the intention to make a booking conflict so that the opposing side could not retain her. After my consult, I felt so confident that I retained Ms. Hazlett myself! Ms. Hazlett was calm, confident, knowledgeable, and reassuring. Her team has been just as excellent. They are friendly, organized, kind, professional, and always on top of the details of my case. Communication is prompt and clear. My questions are answered quickly and followed up on, as is filing paperwork on my behalf with the court. I genuinely feel like they are on my team. I have had a great experience working with Ms. Hazlett and her team, and recommend them definitely.
This is a Really horrible company they do not know how to treat people. I don’t not know how they are still running. I will be turning them in to the better business bureau. They really need to either close or fire everyone and hire better staff.
1 star is generous for this law group. I hired Ms. Pitcher to assist with a Divorce case. Her and her law group filed numerous needless documents which wasted thousands of dollars. Coupled with outrageous administrative fees, the RISE Law Group spent $15,000 of the only money I had, and I'm worse off and not closer to being divorced than before I hired them. I've never even met Ms. Pitcher. Mrs. Hazlett actually represented me during a court hearing, but she was completely unprepared and looked like a high school student who went to take a final exam after only reading the cliff notes. Don't waste your time or money. If you've also been screwed by this law firm, you can submit an Ethics complaint via the Oregon State Bar. I don't know if it will accomplish anything, but these people are thieves who line their pockets with the money of innocent people without any ethics at all.
