My attorney lacked basic follow through skills, a simple case has dragged out for 16 months. I have had to call for updates when no contact had been made for 60 or 90 days, was rushed off the phone or given very limited information, despite reaching out multiple times. My calls were not returned for several days, if at all. The attorney would forward my messages to others to avoid speaking with me, something she did maybe 5 times in 16 months. I have a medical background and understand the basic concept of insurance, but she couldnt be bothered to explain the processes. She also didnt approve the final settlement amount with me, she said it was the best offer, this was how much I would walk away with, rushed to get off the phone (under 2 minute conversation) and just sent me to the next department without returning my call when I had questions. Extremely disappointed.
I couldn't believe how professional and yet how do I say this I felt connected on personal level asof to recommending you guys to someone else well break out the old sign boards and bullhorn and I'm walking the streets and telling the world about how Hupy and Abraham are one's to go to any personal injury problems
This firm ended up giving me the run around on phone, website chat, and I had to reach out several times for a response without a lawyer name or a lawyer’s contact information. They ended up not being able to help me at all. It wasn’t the fact Chad couldn’t help me, it was the way the fact I was transferred by the receptionists and the service I had from this firm leading up to a response from a lawyer. Chad did nothing wrong, but the poor service I had from receptionists in this firm before this was absolutely ridiculous with the end result I received. I was also told by two different receptionists that they were taking cases with my criteria and I was told by the lawyer that they were not. I had to contact them multiple times without a response without anyone telling me what was going on. I was cold transferred to a voicemail without anyone letting me know. I had to call back to ask them who they were transferring me to. A colossal waste of my time on this earth. You should not have your receptionists telling people who call in that you are taking cases when the lawyer is going to say they are not. It’s bad ethics and false representation.
Very unsatisfied. I feel that if I’m paying thousands of dollars to represent my case I should not be the party having to reach out to find out what’s going on. I was told 8-10 weeks to get all my medical bills. That was about 13-14 weeks ago, maybe more. If that the one time I call instead of email, I was transferred to a voicemail, called back and hung up on and called back a third time to leave a message.
Hupy & Abraham is top-notch! They've got the best reputation and they can handle whatever you need help with. They have offices in many places. If you are lucky enough to be in the Davenport, Iowa, area, you can call on Jamie Ford in that office for your legal needs. She's very organized and smart and you will be happy with the Davenport office.
