Hurley & Lara

Were left messages to call me about garnishing the wrong person. They never called. Garnished the wrong person. Definitely going to be a problem. Poor ethics.
Literally garnishing the wrong person.... left messages and they continued forward after they were told they were in the wrong. Definitely going to be paying back every penny.
Multiple times I pleaded not to garnish me as it wasn't my debt. They don't care.
Unbeknownst to me, my wife had a hospital bill owing for the amount of $194.14. For that, James P. Hurley brought a judgement against both my wife and myself without any real effort to collect that debt or warning of the next step, and they somehow turned a $194.14 debt into $465.32. So, of course they didn't want us to pay before serving us! This had a significant effect on both our credit scores for years! I get that my wife should not have neglected the bill, but really? $194.14? And to punish me as well? Petty and pathetic! It says a lot about Hurley & Lara and reflects poorly on Memorial Hospital of Yakima. Beware of who you use to represent you and how they will ultimately reflect on you.
Victor Lara is a brilliant attorney with exceptional analytical skills and excellent judgment. I will forever be thanking him. Victor represented me in a complicated criminal matter, a case where other attorneys gave me very little hope; Victor could negotiate a dismissal for me. Before retaining Victor Lara, I interviewed other attorneys, but Victor stood out for his compassionate demeanor and genuine desire to help me. From the beginning to the end, Victor was professional and very responsive; he always kept me informed every step of the way and was very careful to set the proper expectations. I have nothing but great things to say about this man. I highly recommend him.
