Insurance Associates

I am an assistant to an owner of a small business here on Maui. He was looking for quotes from this company and Erin Claggett was an agent he had been working with. First, she said that the company was not giving quotes at the time because of an incoming tropical storm. He said that was understandable. BUT THEN, he contacted her again after the storm had passed and she said they weren't giving out quotes for another week??? So when she didn't want to give him a quote because they weren't available for a week, she told him it would be best to look for other insurance companies. He said, it was the first time someone had refused his business.

As a property manager I use Insurance Associates for multiple accounts and have always had outstanding service.

Had insurance through these guys and it was horrible. The coverage I had was from First Insurance Co. but my agent worked for this company. Not sure how that works, but they are both terrible. They over-charge you on quotes without an explanation, and never return phone calls. I highly recommend you get insurance else-where, no matter how cheap this coverage is (it probably won't be cheap because my bill did not reflect the quote I got).
