I have been using Bracepoint's services for (goes to check email history...) 8 years! I run a marketing and communications agency. Mark and his team are especially attuned to creative work, entrepreneurs and small business owners, and can scale up for larger corporate projects. He is well-versed in IP and excels at contract language. He has an easygoing attitude that is crucial when discussing stressful situations. I consider Mark and Bracepoint an extension of my team, my oceanside advisory board.

We used Mark Jordan to draft a revised Partnership to our business. We then came back to him to make some further modifications only to find his office had no record of our previous agreement that had been signed and enacted and had apparently lost everything. We would have to start entirely new with a brand new agreement which would cost thousands to develop. Mark was happy to charge us $600 for the Zoom call and his time to verify his office had lost everything. He even reached out when we weren’t paying him quick enough to complain about non prompt payment. I would encourage you to use someone else.

After taking a retainer for time-sensitive work and leading us to believe they would help in the middle of a contract negotiation, it took weeks to get the signed agreement back, no budget as promised, and a conflict of interest check on the wrong parties. Competence is questionable. We did get one helpful phone call and email then, “out of the office” notices for the better part of 2 weeks. When asked if they would be able to assist in a timely manner, Mark Jordan quit. It’s disappointment that they couldn’t follow-through on the paper pushing side, much less get to the helping, or be honest or responsive. Reviewing the quality of work for the past 7 years for the most basic agreements, I see things take triple time in paperwork due to typos and not paying attention to details, like how to spell an investors name. We were optimistic about some of the attorneys that seemed loosely associated with Bracepoint.

I worked with Mark on opposite sides of a transaction and he was honest, responsive, and very knowledgeable. I have since referred Mark to clients for work outside of my practice area and will continue sending referrals his way.

I worked with one of their attorneys on family business, and she was professional, attentive, and punctual. I work in both journalism and the arts, and wouldn't hesitate to reach out to this firm for help again.
