We hired Jacob Stone for our case and within 3 weeks, he had accomplished nothing until we prodded him with correspondence ourselves. That day he secured a single phone call. Jake and his firm have completely wasted our time and now our money for absolutely nothing, and we are now scrambling to make up the time lost in waiting patiently for his advocacy. For comparison, we contacted another law firm that accomplished more on our case in 10 minutes than this office in 21 days! EDIT: As for the response below, it's called a pseudonym, and very few people use their actual name across all google services. Truly shows how kept up this firm is. Get with the times, guys!

Dave does great work and has wonderful expertise in business law, family law, probate law, and estate planning. I refer all of my family and friends to him if they ever need an attorney and have done so on numerous occasions. He gives great legal advice and also ensures that each client is given the best work and full attention to their case at a very reasonable rate.

I signed a retainer for $1000 and was told, if work needed to be done over that amount that I would be informed and I would have to sign a new retainer. I was NEVER kept informed of hours being charged. They billed my credit card for $6031. They will not return my calls or emails. Will not do anything now that they have my money. I have contacted BBB & filed a complain with the Utah State Bar.

I am so happy! after having to make payments to these guys for the last year or so I only have one payment left and they will be paid off. After having less than a favorable experience with this firm and having paid them thousands of dollars. The original team member that handled my case for several months quit and I had to bring another person up to speed on the case. J.D. Milliner claims he was very involved in the case however when I met with him and the new team member I realized that neither one of them was really up to speed. I soon ran out of money and could not pay the outrages charges any longer. At this point Mr. milliner would no longer return my calls and I had to make payment arrangements on the remaining balance. At that time I was referred to another attorney by a friend, I supplied all the information to this new attorney, After a short review she picked up on something that J.D. Milliner had missed and she presented it to the opposing party and they immediately dis missed the case. The new attorney had the matter resolved in 72 hours and charged me $175.00 I have been forced to make $500.00 per month payments on top of the several thousand paid up front to J.D. Milliner for a service that was less than satisfactory. I believe he is more interested in money than he is results.
