I called multiple times with questions about a memorial service I was helping to plan. Three calls were never returned. When I finally got through, the lady I spoke with was kind and answered as many questions as she could. She gave me pricing for memory cards and a slideshow, but was not sure of Allen's ability or price for helping coordinate a virtual service so she set up a phone appointment with Allen. I coordinated several family members to be on the phone call, but when the time came received no call. I phoned Flintoft's and was told Allen was prepping another service and would call when he could. When I attempted to book services with the person I was speaking with, she told me I would have to speak with Allen. No one bothered to call me the rest of the day. Three more calls the next day were not returned. I chose to take my money elsewhere. I feel two stars is generous and I am only being this nice because I did manage to have one conversation with one helpful person. I do not in any way recommend dealing with this company while you are grieving.

With all the positive reviews I read, I had high hopes. Unfortunately I was overall quite disappointed in my experience with Flintoft’s. At a time of significant grief and sadness, I felt that I had to chase information down, my requests were either not documented clearly or relayed to all parties resulting in additional billing requirements and once I returned home (Northern VA) after losing my dad, had to reach out again to track where we were in the process of his remains. I wish I could contribute a better review.

Allen was very patient and explained the entire process he was very flexible & had provision for accommodating Hindu ceremonial as well. Overall even while we were impatient, angry and grieving Allen kept his calm, repeatedly explained us the process and was absolutely in sync with our schedule

Though I'm 75 miles away, there is no one who could have taken more tender care of my family, not in 2007 or 2020. We are so grateful. Thank you, Elizabeth Baty, for your hands and heart.

Flintoft’s took great care of us when my dad passed. The staff is knowledgeable, supportive and attentive. Highly recommend.
