James Nygaard, Attorney At LAW

I had a family member use this attorney for a divorce. She had a mountain of usable evidence to make it a ‘home run' case for this guy. I literally had to do his work for him. He was completely disinterested in representing his client adequately. DO NOT use this attorney unless you want 'c-grade' representation. Based on the disparity of his reviews I question the legitimacy of his 5 star ratings.

No one ever wants to find them in a situation where they need an attorney, but when you do, you want one like Mr. Nygaard. He's down to earth, firm but compassionate. It's very apparent that he and his staff care about their clients and do what they can to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible. My questions were answered quickly, and in some cases, before I even asked them. If you need someone to represent you, I would recommend choosing Mr. Nygaard.
