Adam Ruiz was retained to represent/defend a loved one in criminal & immigration matters. Mr Ruiz took over 20k from my family before becoming unresponsive, disappearing and then being suspended by the Florida bar; The only “work” done on the case were two psychological evaluations performed by a third party. The office of Adam Ruiz never even contacted the defendant or our family when he was suspended, we had to find out through a WCTV article; No itemized closing receipt(s) we’re ever provided and the unused portion of the retainer was never returned.
