I paid $5,600 in July 2019 for my divorce which might I add was a cut and dry non contested divorce. They explained in an email what web site to login, and pay my child support. Jeanie, my attorney, specifically told me that my first child support payment would be due September 1. I have never missed a payment, and have paid consistently since then. Fast forward to October 2021 I went to sell my home, and was told by the title company I owed $2,400 for missing 2 payments in July and August 2019. Let me also add I have sold a house in 2020 after my divorce as well NO issue. I went to Volusia Clerk of Court because I was NEVER notified that there was any missed payments. EVER. I only found out through the title company at closing. When I went to the The Clerk of Court they mentioned the divorce decree had no date for a start date for child support. JEANIE told me specifically September was my first payment so that is when I started paying. I called my attorney Jeanie because I was recommended by the Clerk Of Courts to do so since she forgot to put a start date in the papers. Upon calling her she made no resolution, so I had to pay $2,400 to my ex wife from my closing. This is completely ridiculous and NOT my fault, and no resolution was offered. Why did I even pay $5,600 just to be screwed over? And lose an additional $2,400!!!!! I would have liked to think Jeanie would get this taken care of since her firm did not put the date in my papers that I paid for. Clerk of Court won't do anything for me, and says only my attorney can fix it at this point.

This firm was excellent…I initially hired another Orlando firm and in 8 months did almost nothing but send bills. After $6,000 fired them and engaged the Divorce Mens Law Firm, Jean Moses. Within a week they filled for my divorce, within four weeks we were in mediation which to my surprise worked. My X had been nothing but uncooperative. The firm was very clear about what they need from me to accomplish my change, they were friendly and supportive. They also helped me with parts of the change I didn't think of as well as getting everything prepared and ready within my timeframe.
