I hired her to replace my lawyer in APR2020, and it was a decision I would live to regret. I was in a Custody/Support/Visitation case, in which my teenage son wanted to come and live with me. She failed to request discovery from opposing counsel, she did not subpoena my son to speak with the judge. During the hearing the Judge actually asked to speak with my son he couldn’t be he was not in attendance. I received greater Custody share but that was not what my family was striving for especially with my son telling a therapist that he want to come live us and he never had his chance to speak. She did recommend that I withdraw my Support case but never even asked me how much I paid in support. The week of our trial, she literally ignored my email and text messages for two days I did not hear from her until Wednesday evening. She showed up to court thirty minutes before the hearing and we walked into courtroom with no strategy or plan other than her telling me to maintain my composure. We constantly quarreled over the phone and there was never no lawyer-client synergy between the two of us. I genuinely regret hiring her and the lawyer I replace actually did not show up to a court date at some point during my case. I was an out of town client, who constantly felt I was being treated as out of sight out of mind. I definitely would not tell anyone what to do but I feel that it my duty to tell everyone what I went through.
