I don't normally give poor reviews, and Jeremy was amazing in the past (which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1) anyway, we approached Jeremy to assist us in purchasing some land in a private sale. The initial conversation was prompt, after that if became non existent. I had sent him an email responding to some questions he had with some very simple questions of my own. A week went by with no response, my husband then left him a message, no response, we left another message, no response, I sent another email and you guessed it.... No response. This was a time sensitive transaction so we ended up seeking another lawyer. I understand if you're too busy or if covid is causing issues but a simple email or phone call explaining would babe been appreciated!
I am not the type of person that leaves a lot of reviews, but the efficient hassle free service that I received at Jeremy M Feuer Law Corporation definitely deserves a 5 out of 5. How one of the most important transactions of my life could be made to feel so easy and comfortable warrants an excellent review. Thanks again Jeremy and Tiffany Walter Schirrmeister
I felt prompted to write a poor review for Jeremy after my recent experience with him, one that continues to frustrate me. We (my husband and I) just purchased our first home near Steinbach, MB and were referred to Jeremy by our rural based realtor who had only positive things to say about her experiences with Jeremys' office. Looking back to December, my first sign that it might not have been the right fit for us as first time home buyers was the lack of communication early on in the transaction. But, we summed it up to Covid and it being the holidays. When we finally did get confirmation that our mortgage papers had been recieved from our bank, it was 5 business days until our possession date and we were sent an email with some instruction from an Associate at the office. We didn't actually work with Jeremy, and we had to pull every piece of info out of the office... this was our second sign that we probably should have went with a team more equipped to support first time home buyers. It was frustrating to have to ask for detailed cost breakdowns and timelines every step of the way. But, alas we purchased our home and the evening before possession we had another run-around experience about getting keys, apparently Jeremy's office won't handle key exchanges for rural clients. Our realtor dropped the ball on this as well, but it was again very frustrating trying to sort out communication less than 24 hours of taking possession of our home. Once in the home our communication with Jeremy's office escalated because there were issues with the conditions not being met by the selling party, and we required guidance on managing the situation. This is truthfully where I lost patience and respect for Jereny's office, I felt like they avoided phone calls and communicated only by brief emails. We submitted estimates for work to be done and requestee more info, but it was often met with a quick email that didn't provide any help. We tired of following up and last communicated with Jeremy to inquire about small claims process since nothing has been resloved, and his latest and last response was that he'd send us a link on small claims info... but as you probably guessed, we haven't recieved it yet. I don't have a ton of comparison, so Jeremy may be affordable and a good fit for seasoned buyers, but based on our experience I won't be reccommending him.
Jeremy helped me with the purchase of my first home. As a new buyer with little knowledge of what I was getting myself in too Jeremy was very helpful in answering all of my many questions. Went over the contracts line by line so I knew what I was getting myself in too and was very knowledgeable about the entire process.
Very professional and thorough. We went with him as we had our mortgage through castle and his office is in the same building. Great at following up and answering emails. We had a good experience and would recommend.
