I've heard many times to never trust a lawyer. However, that isn't the case with Matt. He is a very understanding, compassionate, and caring man. He knows what he is doing, and he gets it done. I would recommend Matt to everyone I know! Showing up to court wasn't something I looked forward to but Matt was always a ray of sunshine on my rainy days. He's extremely professional, and is loved by all, I don't think there's anything bad about him honestly. Mr. Kaplan is a wonderful attorney. He fought hard for what was best for our 7 yrs old daughter. He is honest, upfront and cares for his clients. He and his office staff, Mrs. Susan are the sweetest people. My particular case was a military family that no longer lives in IL. Ex-husband active duty navy and I work as a civil service employee for the Dept of Army. We divorce in 2013 in IL and our child nor neither of us have resided in IL since. Though we didnt win the ability to move jurisdiction to the state our child and I now live, Mr. Kaplan fought extremely hard and I feel expressed to the judge my concerns with jurisdiction remaining in IL. We were able to get a modification of custody done during our court visit so that will be beneficial. I strongly recommend him and will be seeking his services for future needs as our daughter grows.
