If I had the option of 0 I would have hit it. My probate case is 4 years old and is no farther than when we started. Me Keenan tried to blame it on Covid-19 but the case was started 2 years prior. On my first visit Mr Keenan stated it was cut and dry case since I had a will. The only thing that changed is my brother passed away. I never heard from this attorney unless I contacted him. Then had the nerve to ask for more money. 4 years later and no progress. Reporting to the Michigan Bar. Buyer Beware.

John is very knowledgeable and was extremely helpful in advising us on our matter. He reviewed all of our documents and detailed what we needed to do to settle our dispute. I would recommend Keenan & Austin to anyone buying real estate or has a real estate related issue.

Phone number doesn’t work, contact form on website doesn’t work. Need to follow up with you regarding some trust work you did for us but have no idea how to get ahold of you! Will remove rating if we get some direction…

DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a client of this firm, but called late in the day to inquire about multiple legal services, including estate planning. I was rushed off the phone by an extremely dismissive (one might say arrogant) attorney before I could begin to describe my needs. It would have behooved them to have not answered the phone, if they were not prepared to provide professional service at the time. I cannot comment on the quality of their legal services, as I was immediately directed to the Detroit Bar Association before I could share any context around the reasons for my call. Nonetheless, I’m extremely dismayed by the lack of quality client service I received as a prospect. My phone call was treated as an inconvenience.

I had a wonderful experience with both John and Jan! They were very kind and instructive while looking over some legal documents for me. Making sure that they understood exactly what I wanted and taking the time to review everything and make sure it was written correctly. They were also very prompt with sending everything over and had it finished right away. I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know and will make sure to use them again if the need arises.
