I cannot recommend Kris for real-estate disputes. He sent me documents to review that he was going to send to court with numerous errors, multiple times, and failed to take responsibility by blaming his paralegals (one document had both my name and the counter party misspelled on the first page). He failed to inform me the defendant in the countersuit had offered to settle in December when mediation took place the following September. He said he was too busy for a case with deposition and possible trial, so he recommended his "colleague" who was extremely rude, pushy, and had had his license suspended. The opposing attorneys after I had new councel claimed he was unresponsive. I had very little information on developments in my case unless I personally reached out and then would be charged hundreds of dollars per hour accordingly. He failed to call expert witnesses when the other parties had. He told me he would do this after deposition. By the time I had a responsive lawyer, the deadline had passed. Had the case gone to trial, this could have been a serious issue. He may very well be competent writing boilerplate trusts or similar, provided he reads the documents before they are submitted to the court. However, I advise not to risk it. Hopefully this post saves someone some money and good luck to you. It has been a horrible year for my family and I believe Kris had a big role to play in that.
