I worked with Andy for years and he was never good at explaining things and made the whole process stressful, then he took it to a whole other level by simply not responding to my calls, text or emails for months. I needed specific information from him and because he hadn’t worked on my paperwork yet, he didn’t feel the need to update me. I’d rather file taxes myself. If I had to run my business the way he does, I would be bankrupt by now.

Do NOT work with this firm I had the misfortune of hiring the firm to do my 2020 tax. They dragged my case out for 2.5 months (neglect, not active working). They waited when there's only a few days left and told me they would charge me 250% of our agreed upon price. (Their excuse was they did not know my full scope. But that was a lie. I have told them exactly what I needed on the first call and the original quote was on par with my previous cost from my previous accountant. I had to move states). Finally we negotiated a new price, 50% increase (for no obvious reason), I paid and signed and waited and waited. On 5.17th, I got an email from them stating they would file an extension for me and I should look for other accountants for help. The money I have paid was for "consulting", not tax preparation. The owner Andy also doesn't seem to know a verbal contract is a contract (it is, by law), he said if I wanted to price he quoted, I should specify that! He also said his clients expected to be charged extra beyond agreed price and were fine with it. Sorry, not me.
