Other than filing for divorce, choosing Richard to represent me was the best decision I have made over the past year. I would not recommend Richard Martin as council because the communication and support from this office is non existent. I hired him in September and never had a one on one meeting with him until January. I had sent emails asking questions about my divorce, and I never did receive any response to most of them.I was very concerned but still had hope that he was working for my good. In my opinion, because of this lack of attention, my divorce lasted longer than it should. I wasted a lot of money on legal representation that was never received and I lost a lot in my settlement because his lack of attention to details. I mentioned to him that I thought that he wasn't taking care of my needs and my cases well as I expected. He reinsured me that he was. I stop paying him in hope that that I would get a response from him, maybe he would ask if I had any problems with the way he was working the case, but no. He just stated that unless I replenished my retainer, he was going to drop my case. I hired another attorney says before my pre-trial. My file from his office was very incomplete, which caused my settlement to favor the ex. I could continue with many other examples, but it is just safe to say, in my opinion, legal representation from this office is lacking.
