Birgit Fladagar is the worst district attorney in California history. She hasn’t cared about the crime victims and has continued her failures as a DA for 15 years. She’s not transparent, she’s not kind, and she showed mercy to bad apples in the law enforcement tree. Thank god that she decided to retire as she won’t seek re-election. People need to elect the new district attorney who truly cares about the victims, bring justice for them and make the DA office a family-friendly agency.

They released my spouse after domestic violence with no charges, without looking into his history with no looking at how many times turlock police has been here. They dropped all charges. Not even a misdemeanor. Restraining order even dropped

This is by far the worst county to have a district attorney in. They are ABSOLUTELY no help at all. Reject cases that they want and fail to protect us! Having a restraining order in Stanislaus county is a joke. People can do whatever they want and get away with it. One DA can press charges but when the person does the SAME THING again to violate a protective order they claim it’s not enough to press charges. So just know people if you are a victim in a crime this county doesn’t care and will NOT help you.

They fail to protect victims of dv and they give the upper hand to the dv abusers. Worst district attorney ever. They reject cases of dv but when the abuser files they give them all their support. That’s not fair at all. No wonder dv victims stop asking law enforcement for help.
