Law Ofc John M Preston

Reviews

When I first got an invitation to attend The Preston Estate Planning workshop, I was skeptical. I have had a Leaving Trust prepared for me by another attorney and thought it was quite comprehensive until the Preston attorneys performed 14-point analysis during that workshop. It appeared that mine and practically all the Trust documents of other participants contained very important omission. When I came to the personal meeting with John Preston, all my skepticism was gone while discussing different scenarios that would be more applicable to my specific situation. nnBy the way, I tried to update my previous Trust using PC software (very cheap solution) - it just didn't have enough flexibility to put forward any specifics into generated document.nnYes, the service of Preston Estate Planning is quite expensive but it worth avery penny of it.
Preston Estate Planning's recommendations to clearly state the intentions of the trust owner makes sense. They share their experiences with other's situations to ensure the rest are informed and protected. I value all that I have learned to PEP.
I am not allowed to say what I am thinking.....one thing I can say is this Law Firm cost me a ton of money.....bring the wheel barrow!
On Jun 11, 2016 you gave us this review:n 4.0 /5nOur family has been with Preston for over 20 years and have always been impressed with the company's ability to keep up with the myriad of changes being made to estate law constantly. We decided to become Life Plan members to take advantage of the free consultations and the "gentle" nudging of the company to keep our records updated each year. Mr. Zoellner and all staff members have been very helpful and kind as we have had to settle the estate of both my parents in the last 18 months; (my parents actually signed up with Preston initially and my husband and I came on board immediately after we married in 1995.
No one likes to pay an annual fee. However, the fact that as a client I receive annual updated info regarding the legal changes, financial changes, and a chance to review/update my estate plan is important to me as things do change. I feel someone is looking out for me. So, this is the reason I continue to participate in the Life Plan Membership Program. Their workshops/DVD's are helpful but would also welcome a brief written synopsis for filing with my portfolio. Recommend quicker turnaround of documents as 2-3 months is too long.
