Absolutely horrible. Not only does he mishandle your claim, he also takes more than his 1/3 by calling it Admin fees. Worst experience ever and did absolutely nothing. Such a joke for an attorney. Do not use him.

Doug has represented my company for over a year now. He is honest and dependable. I am well satisfied with his ethics and integrity.

I made the horrible mistake of hiring Doug to represent me in a personal injury case stemming from an auto collision which has left me with severe irreversible spine damage, nerve damage, mobility issues and total disability. I hired him because he was recommended by his best friend's mother, who was my mother's dear friend for about 50 years. Because of Doug, that friendship is over and those two women who were lifelong friends don't speak. Why is this? Well...nDoug is 1) a liar, 2) a cheat, and 3) a thief. These are pretty big accusations, so let me elaborate:nn1) Liar: Doug claimed immediately after the conclusion of the case that he DID NOT KNOW THE INSURANCE POLICY LIMIT. I have emails dated earlier where he states the policy limits. Doug also told me that he called my treating surgeon to get information, and that the doctor said that he didn't remember me. I called the same doctor's office later, who verified that they never received a call from Doug. In fact, my records were in their old system which means that there was no possible way that he could have called. In addition, other local treating doctors were never called, despite my pleading for him to contact the treating doctors. Doug was too lazy to make a phone call. nFurther, instead of using one of my treating doctors at an expert witness, he used a PERSONAL FRIEND of his (who happened to be paid nearly double what the next highest expert was paid- coincidence?). Doug also explicitly instructed me to lie under oath, repeatedly. I have this in email as well. nHe (and his staff) also lied about procedure, and failed to follow the advice of my physicians, which resulted in a preventable health crisis. Above and beyond all of this utter crap, in his closing argument, he stated that the pain I experience is "in my head," which is not only untrue, it was a complete misrepresentation. My most recent MRIs show that the damaged tissue is dying- and I can feel it. All the time. I actually got up and left during his closing argument because I couldn't believe the complete nonsense, the lies, the overwhelming total bullshit that this man was spewing. He basically argued for the insurance company. It was the most horrific stream of lies and crap that I have ever witnessed... and I was in law enforcement!nn2) Cheat: despite signing a document which states that a flat fee will be charged to cover copies made by his office, I was charged WELL over $1,000 for copies. Further, he had my personal medical records, with my name and everything, copied at a copy center! Way to protect client privacy!nAdditionally, he did not call witnesses who were a) appropriate; and b) provided. He just had to pick up a phone- and he didn't do it. He just hired his friend instead.nn3) Thief: Doug has repeatedly been asked to return personal property that was used as evidence- it was never returned. I still haven't received it, and it's been 6 months.nnIn conclusion, Doug is a lazy imbecile who will lie to you, hire his friends and overpay them, misrepresent you, not give a damn about the facts of the case (much less his client), and put in ZERO effort to educate himself about those facts. He actually said something to the effect of: "if you look at the repair report, you will see that they did chaining on the vehicle's frame. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT IS, but obviously it was a hard impact." If that isn't word for word accurate, it is darn close.nnConsider yourself warned! Doug is a reprehensible human being. He has absolutely no business practicing personal injury law, or any form of law where his idiocy and laziness will impact others. I promise you that if you hire him, you WILL regret it. Doug was, quite literally, a million dollar mistake. If you hire him, I'm sure that number will grow.

Douglas is amazing and has always answered my questions. For a single mom who needed some serious help from a car accident, he was there with legal answers.
