Things started out well with this firm and came highly recommended by our real estate agent. I had an issue with a recent house purchase with the seller not disclosing the damage. At first, there was a lot of back-and-forth with emails not getting answered and calls not getting returned by the assistant. The assistant was an absolute nightmare to deal with, but things did happen that were not in her control like health issues due to Covid. the level of communication was just awful because it's still a business and with 50 people working there someone cant email or call to say what's happening. Once everything finally got scheduled she got the day wrong, so I was waiting all day for Mr. Mario to call and she scheduled it for the wrong day. the day and time were clearly stated in the email. Mr. Mario was very nice on the phone and after just a few minutes he said it would be best if I proceed to small claims court instead and we left it at that. Then after weeks of me trying to get a hold of the assistant again, I get an invoice that stated that they were charging me $700 for our 15-minute conversation. Again Mr. Mario was very nice but it doesn’t make up for having an awful administration team. If you are on a budget and need something done in a timely matter, I would look elsewhere because $700 is a lot to stand for 15 minutes of somebody’s time.

Richard Mario at Buckley Law represented my parents in a real estate mediation. The communication by this office was horrible. After my parents signed the settlement and sent it along to Richard, they waited and waited for the word that the claimants had signed and the settlement was ready to be paid. After waiting 2 weeks, my parents emailed to ask if the claimants signed. Richard and Buckley law said they had not received the signed settlement yet. My parents called again more recently to check on the status, and still were told the signed settlement had not been received. Imagine their surprise when yesterday they received an email from Richard asking if they could bring checks for the settlement today, as the settlement was signed 4 days after my parents signed! My parents had contacted these lawyers several times after signing, wanting to get the settlement paid and over with. To think that the lawyers had the signed settlement the entire time is infuriating. The excuse given was that the paralegal had left shortly after my parents had sent their signed settlement agreement. This is an excuse that shows Richard does not take the responsibility for this mistake himself, and Buckley Law clearly has no contingency plan for accessing information that was sent to an employee that left employment. Inexcusable.

I haf never experienced this level of greed and lack of empathy from a Law Office before, I'm pretty impressed in a negative way. We agreed on a retainer price, I paid it in full. So a few days later, 5 minutes after having told them I sold an asset, I get a new bill with additional costs equal to almost 1000 dollars. After they failed miserably in court. I highly regret meeting and doing business with you. My Oregon public defender outdid your entire office by miles, got me what I wanted amd didnt charge le a penny after yall left me hanging.

Buckley law is a joke! They will do anything to make a buck! Lie to parents, steal from kids. Use kids as pawns! Manipulate, to try to get a dollar in their firms pocket. And the president has no balls! I wouldn’t trust them to gut a fish! Swim far away!

My experience with Richard A. Mario was extremely disappointing. From the onset. Difficult to get an appointment with. Communications very poor. Charged me for an appointment that never took place. Honestly, nothing positive came out of the three months I was with this firm that I could use or carry forward. They did manage to absorb a good portion of the retainer fee. He is ineffective in Action. I could not even get a letter written that he said would be his first course of action. (To get me to sign on with his firm?) I feel he is not confident in his abilities and wants guarantees. Of course don't we all.... I caution you to consider getting a couple of consultations before retaining this firm.
