Presents inaccurate invoices to client after requesting explanations for a couple months without response. Rushes the bill at the last minute and accuses client of not paying on time due to Attorney Channe Cole’s invoice errors. Used an out-of-town doctor she has no prior experience with that generates an expected bill of $12,000 but later turns into an unexpected $25,000 bill. This same doctor has several negative reviews due to a pattern with overcharging. A three minute internet search could of avoided the use of this unprofessional doctor. The doctors report was NOT needed and never used. Complete waste of money, time and the report had inaccuracies that could be found easily not reliable in court. Law Office of Channe G. Coles provided a list of witnesses subpoenaed and later discovered by new attorney a couple of witnesses were NOT subpoenaed. Subpoenas were for a limited date when the subpoena could of been opened ended for court continuances with the same effort and cost. Law Office of Channe G. Coles firm demonstrated the lack of foresight, experience, organization and follow through. Commonly waits to the last minute to complete tasks for court. Emotional and lacking confidence during court appearance. Beware this firm will drop your case on the 11th hour before court due to their last minute billing errors and client halting payment for suspected errors. This firm demonstrated the lack of care regarding the protection of the child and more focused on their billing that again contained errors. Luckily, I hired a new attorney Eric Gans who was calm, calculated, professional, organized and delivered a clear honest case to Judge Colleen Stearne for continued protection of my child and I for years to come. Attorney Eric Gans is a true All Star attorney amongst Santa Barbara’s mediocre attorneys.
