Mr. Byrd was a lawyer full of ambition and promises he never met. I hired him with the full expectation I would be represented fairly. In hindsight, I can say that I was not treated with the full advantages his representation should have provided. I was young and had no idea of his political ambitions. It would not be wrong to assume that because of those ambitions, he misrepresented the way in which he would or wouldn’t protect my interests.
