Please be aware! I contacted a representative of this firm to represent me in a child support matter in St. Joseph MO a few months ago. I provided him with fact base information for my defense well in advance of my court dates. On my court dates this lawyer was 1/3 prepared to represent my case. Due to the lack of preparation and not providing the service that I paid for up front. I would not recommend there service to anyone. In matters the could be devastating to most families, It is IMPORTANT to deal with representation that is working on your behalf when dealing with sensitive legal matters. I found out the hard way. You shouldn't have too! The MOST insulting part! In front of me the attorney agreed with the prosecutor on a legal matter that cost me thousands. Friends looking out for Friends!

I went through an insanely long, drawn-out divorce with an attorney who was more interested in the money and putting on a show for opposing council. The kids well-being was my only concern from the beginning, yet when we went to court all of her preparation was on the money, so we were left with a very difficult situation for the kids and I. When I filed for a custody modification I hired Craig Ritchie, and I am so thankful I did. He didn't give me unrealistic expectations, and he let me know up front that it was going to be difficult to get approval to move, but he never quit working for me. We were eventually allowed to move, my kids are now thriving, and their relationship with their dad has improved dramatically. My divorce attorney just said a move was impossible and wouldn't even try, but Craig made it happen. I am so grateful for all he did for us and I really wish I would have gone to him in the beginning!

I absolutely loved working with Lauren. She is super friendly and completely professional. She helped me get things handled pretty quickly with my custody case. I will defiantly use her again as my attorney when I need to. Highly recommend!

Lauren was very professional and responsive. She went above and beyond to learn and know our case thoroughly and researched everything! She was well versed with all medical terminology that was involved and was able to get recommendations to provide us with the best defense we could have possibly imagined. From beginning to end she was available at any time we had questions and kept us updated on everything. The hourly rate is very fair and the payment process was very easy and multiple options available for all. We would recommend Lauren and her colleagues to anyone facing legal battles.

I had Craig Ritchie represent me for my divorce case. He was an excellent lawyer and went above and beyond for me. He fought for me which gave me confidence in my choice of attorney. Unfortunately my case took a turn and was moved to a different county. At this point Craig could no longer represent me and I was given another attorney in the office who could named Doug. He wasn’t bad but I felt like he was more concerned with pleasing opposing counsel. Not surprising because he admitted that they were friends. Ultimately I came out mostly positive in my case but felt it would have been differently had it been Craig. All of the paralegals are extremely helpful. Would have given 5 stars had I not had to switch lawyers.
