Law Office Of David Hilles

In my opinion, Mr. Hilles did not provide me with effective representation regarding my probate case. He charged me a large fee in advance, but he never accomplished any of my goals. It appeared to me that he did not take any action whatsoever to further my case. I deeply regret wasting so much time and money by hiring David E. Hilles.

Mr. Hilles truly is the best attorney any person could have. I was so nervous and scared like any other client could be. I was expecting I didn't have a case, but after my first sit down with Mr. Hilles. I was reminded to just take it one step at a time. He was so honest, patient, and straight forward with me. Saying he is the best attorney! His assistant, Edith, was perfectly attentive to each detail. As a client's perspective, I understood that all cases are different and will take the time needed to go to Court. I didn't rush his time, (although I wanted to get it over with), but prayed to God that things will ran smoothly and fine. Again, Mr. Hilles and his assistant worked hard to get my case with a successful result and I will forever be grateful. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Mr. Hilles and Edith for everything. Mr. Hilles has been a blessing through my divorce proceedings. Besides being knowlegeable and patient he is always willing to see you and answer any questions. He is not about the money which is hard to find in lawyers but he listens intently and has human compassion! What a blessing HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

David Hilles is a nice man but a very...very bad lawyer. He takes your money, listens to you, takes your documents, promises you to help you but he does not. When he is at the court he is not prepared, he does not know what he does!!! He is not punctual, he does not answer your phone and emails unless you persist several times. Always you have to follow up, he never inform you.(His secretary is awful and awkward like himself) If you want him to do something for you, many times you have to call and follow up. He forgets a lot!!!! He not only does nothing for you but also he ruins you. Not having a lawyer is better than having him, at least you don’t lose your money and you don’t get mad.

Hired him for my divorce. I felt like I had to do all the work. He was never prepared. I gave copies of things and he didn’t bring them to court for the case. If I hadn’t brought my own proof of things he would’ve sat there quiet. In the end because of his lack of duty and everything else, It didn’t go in my favor although I had enough evidence. He never called me, never kept in contact, it was hard to reach him... and let’s just say I don’t know what his assistant gets paid for because it’s not like she does follow ups. The worst!!! He was supposed to open up a Childsupport case for me and then emails me months later to ask me if I still wanted him to do that when he was supposed to do it months ago. Again.. the worst!!!! It’s been a little over a year and I still haven’t gotten anything about the divorce or papers to change my name. Don’t hire him!!! You will waste your time and money!!
