David stone will do nothing but charge you and not show or answer when you need him there are honest lawyers out there but he is definitely not one do yourself a favor And research before you get screwed out you're case buy him and his firm

We have been clients of David since July of 2014. He has been bang-on about every single thing that has occurred thus far, as well as what to expect from the court, and the other party. He calls it every step of the way - he's like a fortune teller! Gives great advice. We had a few snags with one member of staff when the office was overloaded, at the very beginning. We spoke up, and our concerns were dealt with efficiently, professionally and fairly, so we have no complaints. It did not affect our outcomes, or our relationship with David, which we have been very pleased with. David's main concern is what is best for the child, and he will not beat around the bush to pacify you. This is a good thing! We had realistic expectations, and realistic measures were taken. Every penny invested in David's counsel has been worth it. Claire is an excellent and efficient paralegal - she really has it together. The entire office is very accommodating when we have urgent questions and need advice ASAP. We are still clients! :)

My first experience with this type of Lawyer and so far it has been horrible. Just received a letter from his paralegal asking for all the paperwork I submitted already. I filled out the declaration and get the invoice from his office and she has billed me for her time to fill out the declaration. on the first case Child support his associate went to court and I was advised that I didn't have to appear. after filling out my declaration and everything that the county requested my child support went up $700.00. after finding that out I immediately went online to see what the state guidelines were and they came in way lower than what Mr. Stones office has gotten for me. they did not use any of the paperwork that I had provided to them, I should have went to court and would have received a better order than what they got for me and I am not a Lawyer. on my custody case I have not been notified of what we are perusing or what needs to be done. I definitely would not recommend this Law office.

DAVID C. STONE IS THE WORST ATTORNEY FOR FAMILY LAW, WASTE OF MONEY, NO RESULTS, ALL HE WANTED WAS MORE $$$! DO NOT RETAIN!!!! This shameless Attorney David Stone was hired to do a relocation trial between my ex-wife and I. He from the GET GO was demanding a $5k retainer. Long story short, he kept demanding more and more money ( In the end, I spent over $38k!!!) and he ended up LOSING my relocation trial and my ex got to move with my kid. He tried to put a different attorney on the case towards the end, and I felt that it was a very lazy move on his part, because he didn't know the case AT ALL!!! OH! To top it all off, I gave David a referral for my friends divorce and relocation and she forked over $35k!!!! She wasn't happy with the results either!!! The best part is, after the trial was over, he had some aggressive, threatening guy called me telling me 'when are you going to pay your balance of $32k off??????? ' DAVID STONE DIDN'T EVEN SEND ME A BILL, AND HE HAD SOME GUY THREATENING ME, TELLING ME THAT HE HAS CHECKED MY CREDIT AND HE WILL GET EVERY DIME THAT IS OWED TO DAVID???? DISGUSTING!!!! Attorneys like Mike David Stone should get their license taken away. He is very greedy, and doesn't care about your situation, he just wants money. One time, I emailed him, and in his bill, he charged me $397.00 to REPLY TO MY EMAIL????????? NO thanks! Save your hard earned money and get an attorney that can be fair and passionate about your case. I am going to the BBB and the California State Bar about his behavior and professionalism. After MY $38+k, and my friends $35K, he still tried to charge me another $32k??? SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME, GET A LAWYER THAT WILL CARE AND NOT RIP YOU OFF!!!

Worst experience ever. Went through a child support case.. When I first met with David he was reinsurancing me my payment would go down, I wouldn't hear from him at all about my case, instead his paralegals would call me and make excuses for him,or tell me he was out of the office and he would get back to me. This went on for months, me not worried about because I thought I had a solid case I let it slide.. The day of my court date he showed up and walked passed me not even knowing who I was. I spoke up and he said ohhhh ya long time no see, he said told me to tell my exs lawyer to meet up with him as soon as he gets there. Her lawyer showed, and David pretty much tucked his tail between his legs agreeing on everything my ex wife lawyer wanted and told me with with a worried face.. If I wanted see a judge I could but it would probably be worst for me... I ended up paying a lot more and I wasted thousands of dollars for no help.. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY I could write so much more but he ain't worth my time!!!!! I hope you personally read this David Stone
