Abusive management. After about 2 weeks on the job working the dining halls they mentioned I need to to get the exact attire they require. So I went out and spent $95 to get it that same day after I got off my shift. Then my next shift 2 days later, I get a notification saying I’m fired for using foul language, which was a complete lie, I would never say anything derogatory to someone else while at work. They were supposed to pay me for cancelling a shift less than 24 hours before it starts, turns out they didn’t have to do because of my “foul language”, how convenient. It takes a truly sick person to be so selfish and have such a lack of empathy for someone else. Also, the day before they told me to get the correct attire the manager said to me, “Hey Cory, that doesn’t look the right attire haha, I’m joking you’re okay don’t worry about it.” Then the next day they bring me to the office and say “you need to get the right attire or you’ll be put on the DNR (do not return) list”. Not only did they play some sick psychological game, they also scammed me out of about $230. $90 for the clothes I bought to work there, which I never wore once to the job and the $140 I was supposed to make that day working.
