What can I say Mario and Brian are the BEST!!! Attorney Mario worked VERY HARD AND WAS INSTRUMENTAL in helping my daughter receive her much needed disability from SSA! It’s unfortunate I had to leave this kind of review in what otherwise could have been a really positive experience. Caution to future clients: make sure ALL your medical bills are taken care of (if it’s a part of your settlement agreement) before you sign those legal papers that gives your lawyers the right to receive your money because once they get their cut, you’re screwed. They’ll stop replying and will not uphold or enforce signed agreements. I had to do the last part for myself. I’m a small town, rural, guy that took the words of a big city lawyer, Mario, and his paralegal (Brian). Where I come from, a man’s word is his bond. You can count on it. So, I took them at their word. I was even contacted to leave a great review — which I did — only to discover I had a medical balance that I thought they had taken care of like they told me. It was not. I felt duped. But, God is still ordering my steps, and I’m doing my best to resolve it. And, I think I have. I just wanted to caution future clients not to be so eager to sign papers to close their case until you know EXACTLY where you stand. I know some of you have been waiting on your breakthrough but don’t let the enemy trick you. Don’t be anxious! When you hear those big numbers it’s only natural to become excited. I know how it feels. But, just be careful. Up until the very end, I had nothing but good things to say. I’m not angry — just disappointed.

Excellent article regarding cycling safety in SC and tips for staying as safe as possible on our roads. I am very familiar with the rules of the road, but the section on what to do in the event of an accident was new to me and particularly helpful. Too often cycling accidents are occurring on our roads due to distracted and/or aggressive drivers or drivers who are either are unaware that cyclists have the same rights and responsibilities for sharing the road and/or resentful that cyclists are on the road. The accident and death statistics are abysmal, and many of us, myself included, have personally known fellow cyclists and friends who have been severely injured or have lost their life in spite of wearing bright colors. Having flashing lights and following safety guidelines. We as cyclists must adhere to the law and do our part to stay aware and ride safely.
