John Alegria has handled several of my cases, all of them with great success. In my humble opinion he is the smartest lawyer that I have ever known. He really knows the law and comes up with strategies to win. He is very easy to work with and is always very responsive. His prices are very reasonable and I believe that I have always received far more than I paid for. My only regret is that there are only 5 stars because I truly believe that he is one of a kind.

After researching lawyers in the Treasure Valley, I found that John Alegria best suited my needs. Professionally and financially. I asked him to represent me which he agreed to and I’m thrilled with the outcome. He and Matt both are hard workers who are always available for questions and advice. It’s been a pleasure working with them and I highly recommend their services.

I had a Divorce and related Criminal case and John resolved both to my complete satisfaction. He and his staff were always available to answer my questions, even after hours, when I was stressed or frustrated. I have already referred a couple friends to John and they also liked his work. This was the first time that I needed an attorney and I hope that I never need one again. But, if I do, I will call John. He seemed to know everyone in the system and how it worked. It relieved a lot of stress.

DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF HIRING THIS MAN. He is most literally the worst attorney ever. He is constantly unavailable, he exorbitantly and falsely over charges, with such things as example: 15 second text message he billed 15 minutes at 125 per hour; voice messages he left he billed the same for; invoiced calls that never occurred; time he stated he spent working on legal matters that were never even necessary or utilized; not one document drafted; not one issue resolved by him; not one appearance made by him in the matter -- and billed for $3,000.00 taking over half of that amount in a retainer, he did absolutely NOTHING!! Then as mentioned in prior reviews he instantly became vulgar, rude, unprofessional and vindictive when questioned on these matters, to the point of making up things that never occurred and by far the worst thing he threatened in writing to lie and thereby violate attorney client privileges for the benefit of the Prosecution. I As reflected in earlier similar reviews and instances, it is a great travesty that he is even able to continue to practice law, it is disgraceful to other legal professionals, it is a black eye on the state and county justice system, it is horrible the way he treats people that have even the slightest inclination to challenge his "work" done and accounting of time. If even one person does not hire him based on these 100% accurate and truthful reviews then it will all be worth it -- all the loss he has caused everyone he has ripped off -- and I am certain others finding similar dealings with him would agree.

Mr. Alegria helped me tremendously with my case involving custody of my children. He was very attentive, professional and accurate with his information. Between Mr. Alegria and his staff, I was guided (at ease) through the process and very happy with the results. I appreciated that his office was always available for me. I was not probably the easiest of clients.
