Before hiring Kathy, I had a complicated family law case and was totally lost. I had worked with a different attorney prior and felt like this case was never going to have a positive resolution. I think she often heard the things I didn’t say as well. She took it all in, combining years of experience, a wealth of knowledge, keen intelligence, and a warm heart, then formulated a successful legal plan. Kathy is fair and compassionate. She’s also very direct. She’ll tell you exactly what she needs when she needs it. She’s too smart for excuses, so I wouldn’t try. She gives the truth and expects it in return. She doesn’t sugar-coat anything. She’s busy, but she’s also very communicative. She was always keeping me in the loop and copying me on the newest correspondence so I was never left to wonder where things stood or what was being said. Finding the right attorney is everything, especially in a matter as precious as family law. It’s an investment in the future. I have learned from first-hand experience that no two attorneys are alike. I was severely disappointed in my first. I can tell you with certainty that if Kathy represents you, you’re in the very best of hands. She goes above and beyond. She empowered me; she’s been my cheerleader, advocate, and sometimes even my therapist. She gave me a legal voice when I had been silenced before.
