I am an Oregon attorney. I was looking back at my records recently and saw that I first joined MBA as an attorney way back in 2004 when I first came here from California where I am also admitted to practice law. The Multnomah Bar association provides so many interesting and really updated and valuable information and programs to attorneys and the community. For forever they had a very reasonable cost health insurance plan available to attorneys who weren't covered at the law firm's they worked at. I cannot tell you how helpful that was to me as a solo starting a practice in a new state. They are a credit to the bar and I am thankful for all the volunteers, paid staff, and attorneys who are so knowledgeable and thoughtful.

The Multnomah Bar Association serves lawyers and the public by providing continuing legal education, supporting access to justice, and promoting professionalism among all lawyers. It is not a government entity. It is comprised of loyal volunteers who participate in activities like Law Day, the pro bono pledge, and other vital community service activities.

Call this place again about my bank account and never even did call me back to answer a quick question or to help me find a lawyer if I needed one
