My mother-law hired Kim as her probate lawyer for the estate of her mother. The estate had a house that was divided among the family. My husband was trying to buy the house from the family and we almost lost the house because of Kim. She was such a horrible lawyer with absolutely NO communication. In this day and age I would expect at least a 24 year turn around for a phone call or email, but with Kim most of the time we couldn't get a response in the same week. She gave my mother in lawyer horrible legal advice and confused her to the point where she didn't know what she was doing or signing. It got so bad my mother in law quit and thankfully that forced Kim to resign with her. I took over the probate with a new lawyer and it was a mess. Kim's paperwork got sent back from the court at least 2-3 times for errors or missing paperwork. In fact at one point she forgot to send the court her own bill, so she could get paid. And even after I took over the Personal Representative to finish the estate she still costed me months because she never finished her accounting and it took 1.5 months to get ONE piece of paperwork about the last PR resigning. Ridiculous. She waste a lot of money and time for shoddy work at best. She is one of the cheapest lawyers around but you will pay with your time and headaches. I wouldn't give her any stars but that wasn't an option.

Kimberly is a very knowledgeable, fair, and personable attorney. I can't say enough good things about her. She has helped me through a couple of very emotionally challenging legal issues. She was honest and up front about the facts and possibilities along every step of the way. She never rushed me and always took her time to explain any of the legal terms/procedures/protocols regarding my case. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an attorney in family law.

If I could give 0 stars, it would still be too many. I am not reviewing in spite because she didn't even represent me. I am reviewing because I have never had more unprofessional and ill prepared behavior from someone who is supposed to have been a lawyer for more than 20 years. Perhaps the strategy of stonewalling is her game but when matters need to be handled in a timely fashion, she is nowhere to be found. In court, she never once said my name correctly, let alone her own client and we share the same last name. The judge told her to have a supplemental judgement drafted for signatures and submitted by a certain date and now more than a month has gone by and I had to reach out to the opposing parties council to figure out where it was. It was finally sent to me and apparently no one in the office knows how to use spell check or proofread the documents because it had several typos and incorrect data. Finally, Kim and her legal assistant Carrie Taylor, get the forms corrected after I made 3 different phone calls to inform them of their errors, and then they informed their client not to sign them until she reviewed them. Are you kidding me? Your work had to be reviewed by me and you are the one who drafted the forms so why couldn't all involved sign without you looking over your own work for a 5th time? If you want actual representation for a divorce with children involved, go anywhere else but her. You deserve less stress!

Ms Brown was the opposing attorney in my divorce case. The case could of been over in a matter of months but it took over a year. It took her forever to share discovery evidence. It got to the point that we almost had to file a CONTEMPT OF COURT over the matter. We had to reschedule the trial a number of times because of this. When we gave her our settlement offers she responded with spiteful and false statements about me. Our proposals contained no such language. I was fortunate to have had an attorney that was professional throughout the process. Ms Brown was lacking of this. If Ms Brown is your ex’s attorney be prepared for months of frustration and Incompetence. I

We fronted her $4,000 dollars in issues about our grandchild’s mother who is a meth addict. Our son paid her an additional $3,000. She was worthless and in court filings got our grandson’s age wrong as well as our son’s address. She talks about her recovery from past issues. But since she appears to have disappeared I think her past issues are back. Don’t trust her, she’ll take your money and do nada.
