Horrible horrible customer service and processes. Anyone you talk to is rude and demeaning and talks down to you. I no doubt owed money in my case but the way it was handled and the way this law office treats you is shocking. The agent I just talked to today had the nerve to tell me things about me and my case that she would have no clue about. She talked to me as if I owed her money. I've heard horror stories about this law office and their practices and obviously their reviews are terrible and now I've experienced it first hand.
They are so rude and treat the people as delinquents, i have been trying to reach an agreement with them since the people who send me with them never contacted to me so I'm no fortuneteller, also i am in an immigration process and if they send me to court I would lose my residence. And with a fairly loud tone of voice the girl on the phone told me that it wasn't their problem. Thanks for you help
When attorney Dave Todd begins stalking you on LinkedIn ( yes I have screen shots of it ) and then him and Sr. Decide to go on a personal vendetta against you to get you fired and evicted , literally two days after informing your employer of a double cancer diagnosis and request for reasonable accommodations my employer , you know that you have a shady attorneys office out there ... and yes the "xtra screening" tool you all heard about in the Tribune that this law office is all true ! They sure do attempt to impede anyone from exercising the rights , and attempt to squash the little guy.
Today I spoke with Trevor, and was incredibly shocked at his lack of understanding surrounding FHA and other laws that pertain to service animals in housing. The reason for my call was because I was trying to rent an apartment and the manager required “documentation” for my task trained service dogs. I asked what she meant, as the FHA only allows landlords to ask two questions in regards to service animals if the handler’s disability is not visually observable/readily apparent. She said they have an attorney who told them to give a form to prospective tenants to take to their doctor, prove their disability, get it signed and bring it back to be on file. I advised them that this demand is in direct violation of the FHA, and advised them to read HUD’s guidance for assistance animals in housing released on 1-28-2020. They clearly didn’t understand the laws, so I asked if I could speak with their attorney to try and figure out why they were being given legal advice that could easily get them sued. Trevor claims he was an investigator and “knows the FHA like the Bible,” yet, he proceeded to cite the laws incorrectly over and over to me. Presumably because I’m female, he believed if he continued to argue with me about a law, then his arguing would just make it so. Unfortunately, that’s not how laws work, and Utah state law certainly does NOT supersede federal laws- whichever law allows the most protection is the law that applies. I’m not an attorney, but I never in my wildest dreams would have ever thought an attorney would be so incompetent about laws that very much pertain to his job. I encourage anyone who has a task trained service animal and has been discriminated against in this way to file a complaint with their local HUD office or Utah Human Rights Commission. Attorneys like Trevor are precisely the reason why landlords end up getting into legal trouble, and service handlers are discriminated against. I guess I just can’t imagine paying for and attending years of law school only to not understand laws that are extremely pertinent to your job. Continuing to argue about me over actual legal text is bonkers, but I can’t force people to read applicable materials if they refuse to, as he did. Personally speaking as someone who has been a landlord, I would never use this attorney for legal matters pertaining to housing, and especially not related to assistance animals.
A set of fraudsters sending out fake documents to steal from tenants. Beware!!!! Even after you pay your debt, theyll send the expired writ of garnishment to your employer to steal from you again. Everything in the dark will come to light. White collars crime!!
