We could not get the District attorney to offer a suitable plea agreement because of my past so I went to open plea in front of the judge and Mr Thibodeaux got me deferred probation so I could keep my drivers license and keep working. I didn't use him due to certain circumstances but he did return a call from me and he was a straight shooter when I called and spoke with him regarding my nephew's case. He didn't try to rush me off the phone, he was honest and talked with me as if we knew each other. I truly appreciated that.

Extremely rude and inconsiderate especially the receptionist. If your black I strongly recommend you don’t go to them. Very disrespectful. Been given the run around for 2 months now I have court coming with no lawyer after I was told by Lane that he would look into it and let me know something. Now I can’t get in contact with him and his receptionist just keeps telling me she will return my call and never does then hangs up in my face while I’m talking.

Extremely unprofessional law firm starting with the receptionist. Extremely immature woman with no manners. The paralegal thinks she is a big shot lawyer or something and even she is arrogant and a pain, not to mention how unprofessional it is to never answer questions left for her in messages since she is NEVER in the office. What do you when she's gone? talk to the rude receptionist. Did I ever get to talk to Layne Thibodeux? NO. never got to talk to anyone. Just had to deal with rude and unprofessional women for 2 months, getting nowhere with my case to top it off.
