I recently applied, interviewed and was accepted for a clerk position with Woods Oviatt Gilman. I saw the opportunity online after hearing about the firm from a friend of mine who does paralegal work elsewhere. I was initially contacted by Derek, the talent acquisition specialist, about conducting a phone interview. He instantly made me feel comfortable and was extremely informative about the position at hand. From there, I met him in person at the beautiful spacious office. This experience was no different and he again made me feel at ease and asked some important questions for the position. Finally, I met with the team leaders, learned more about each specific position they were hiring for, and eventually was presented an offer that I was very happy to accept! They were prompt at responding, and I would absolutely recommend keeping an eye out for open positions at this firm.
Had a terrible experience with this law firm. Expected me to pay fees for someone else's mistake. They were not willing to pay the fees but expected me to. Terrible Terrible Most of the positive reviews for this firm are from employees ????
I have recently been offered employment at Woods Oviatt after several months of interviewing and job hunting. I have to say the interview process was extremely positive for me. I left my interview with Derek and some of the default team smiling because of how comfortable I felt. Derek has been in constant contact with me about everything and readily available to answer all my questions. Not once have I felt "left hanging" or confused. Everything has been extremely professional and positive. I am excited to start this journey and grateful for the opportunity with Woods Oviatt.

I was recently hired at Woods Oviatt Gilman. I was recruited by Derek, the Talent Acquisition Specialist. He is a very friendly and pleasant person, so my phone interview with Derek was also friendly and pleasant. After the initial phone interview, I was invited for a face-to-face interview with Derek. He has a way of making the interview process non-intimidating, and this interview taught me more about the firm, and I was able to explain more about what I am looking for in a firm. Derek is very quick to respond to e-mails, and set up an interview with the hiring partner within days of my interview with him. Natalie was also very friendly, and the interview felt conversational. Throughout the process, I learned more about the firm and position, and felt like I was a good fit for WOG, and WOG was a good fit for me. The process overall was extremely positive.
