Would not recommend. My mother hired him to probate my fathers will and make two small changes to hers. Well here we are now with him still getting a probate hearing for both of my parents. He never got around to making my mothers changes. Every time you call it’s that they need to type up a paper that takes his staff two weeks to do or they have a computer virus. The only contact we have had is if we call the office. Then they rush you off the phone.

To be honest, I would not risk hiring this person to represent anyone I cared about. After paying for a simple telephone consult, being basically insulted by his condescending manner with no logical help offered, I am glad my friend didn't chose him to represent his case. If you do use him I hope you have a better experience.

$10,000.00 for a county court case. Paid $5000.00 up front only to hear everything is taken care of. But when i showed up to court it was obvious Hollis had never even spoken to the district attorney. When it came time for my trial date he had prior obligations in Milam county and would be late. I missed pre trial and was set to show up the following Monday for court but he said not to go. Just bring him another $5000.00 and he would get everything straightened out. Offered to make payments he was not interested. Ive used him every time i have had court in the past but he did absolutely nothing for the initial money i paid him. I would reccomend looking around before wasting a dime on Hollis Lewis. There are plenty of really good attorneys in this area that will handle your case for 1/3 of what he charges. He focuses on telling you just what you want to hear. He could care less if your guilty or innocent he will take your money tell you its all good then if you lise your case hes like oh well call me if you ever need my services again. Rip off.

Friendly, prompt and professional. I have absolutely zero complaints in the way he handled my case. And his office staff is awesome.
