Upon meeting me and getting assigned to my case, Mr.Williams briefly went through my file. At first, I thought - great another attorney who couldn’t care less. Wrong. Maurice Williams is down to the T, the man you want representing you. His main concern was keeping my record clean. This man is smart and knows his stuff! He’s a very sweet man, always handled all my questions and concerns. Unlike most attorneys, I never got a bad vibe. He speaks infront of the judge in confidence and when he speaks you can tell he is very educated in this field. I trusted my case in his hands and went to court worry free knowing I had excellent representation. My previous attorney adjourned my case continuously from 01/2018-03/2019 w no resolution and always unprepared. Mr.William went out of his way to meet with me outside of his office and at a convenient time. Resolved my case dating back to early January of last year in ONLY two court appearances. I can’t thank you enough Mr.Williams for giving my family and I piece of mind, resolving my case to the best of your ability and your patience. If I ever get in trouble again. Mr. Williams was appointed roughly 7-8 years ago concerning a visitation/custody case in Westchester County . He understands the system very well and does all he can do to benefit his clients. Always respectful and punctual. Being a lawyer and having tons of clients and cases isn’t an easy task. He fights for the rights for parents no mater race or religion. About a month after I left the google review below Maurice filed for an appeal with a new lawyer that had more time and resources to handle my unique situation. I am going from one to three stars because he attempted to make things right that had been butchered the first time. Original post: Maurice handled my family court case. Not only did I wait several months to NEVER get a call back from him every time I call nothing feels to be resolved. My case it should have been very clean cut... I have never had a founded CPS case and had fought in the courts for 2 years that everything my child's father was saying is the complete opposite, yet somehow every time me and Maurice met it was 5 minutes before the court hearing and he was flipping through the paperwork like he had not even looked at it before this time. When we went into court he would repeat the same position unsupervised visitation...yet NEVER had a game plan to make it happen...and never spoke up about the things my child's father was accusing me of. Long story short the judge made a FINAL order for me to have supervised visitation in a center for a hour and a half every other weekend when I travel 5 hours each way just to get to that appointment...and I have to pay this center as well that gives me NO HOLIDAYS either. Maurice has done a terrible job representing my case. I guess that's what I get having a court appointed lawyer who doesn't care about me or my child.

Mr. Williams, I just wanted to take the time to say Thank You for representing me and always being very honest, adamant and resourceful. This has been a very long process having to deal with such a nuisance of an individual but with your excellent representation and willingness to always getting the right point across it was all worth it.
