I called Mark Rubin regarding filing a Chapter 7. 2020 and 2021 wrecked my finances. As a single woman looking for assistance, he was very rude and condescending. I explained to him that I had done a lot of research over the years. I was told that I couldn't file when I had zero income, I have been told I made too much money when I made more than I do now but with a little work was almost there...this was three years ago whenI was working. He proceeded to talk over me and mansplain me like I was an idiot and initially SCREAMED at me and hung up the phone saying he's been doing this for 30 something years or whatever it was. If you are a woman looking for assistance do NOT call this man. I understand how bankruptcy works but DO NOT understand how billionaires and corporations can file when they have millions in assets. I have nothing and have taken major financial hits, mainly because of the sick and controlling patriarchy. I didn't need to yelled at (again)by an old, misogynist white man. Attorneys are hard to talk to as it is but throw this one in there and you got yourself an angry and disheveled mess! Maybe he was mad at his wife or girlfriend or both. Either way, I don't take it lightly. Just be kind!
