Paul Ward is a very professional and personable lawyer who is responsive to your needs. He has the ability to explain complex legal language in simple terms, takes the time to answer all your questions, and listens carefully to be sure he understands your needs. Through building a good rapport with clients, he instills trust in the process and you are reassured that the final product is tailored to your needs. It was a pleasure to work with Paul and we recommend him without reservation.
I found Paul Ward through a basic google search when I found myself in need of an estate lawyer. Paul was prompt and friendly when he returned my initial phone call. Paul was very straight forward with regards to his working style and fee structure and agreed to meet with me and my brother for an initial consultation. 10 minutes into the consultation I was convinced that Paul was the right person for us to work with. His attention to detail blew me away, and as the months went on I became even more satisfied with our working relationship. Although we are still in the final phases of closing my late mothers estate I can say without hesitation that we really found a "partner" in Paul Ward. It is often too easy to make jokes about lawyers counting the minutes and seconds only to charge you enormous fees for doing everything possible, this is simply not the way that Paul works. Paul is of course willing to take care of all the details if that is what you want, but in our case we partnered with Paul and allowed him to do the heavy lifting on the legal side, and we stayed engaged on a weekly basis corresponding with creditors as well as reviewing and correcting all documents being issued to the probate court. Oh and if you are the kind of person like me who likes to conduct most if not all communication through email - Paul is your guy. We worked through some pretty complex legal challenges almost exclusively through email. The only way that was possible was for Paul to be an excellent communicator and actually follow through on the tasks he agreed to do. i can not say enough good things about my experience working with Paul so if you are looking for a legal "Partner" dont think anymore - pick up the phone and call him.
I first reached out to Atty. Ward in August or September 2021, because I had to re-open my late brother‘s probate case in North Kingstown; I live in CT and wanted a local attorney in NK. It’s a long story not worth going into here. But Atty Ward listened and I appreciated that. There were a lot of moving parts, my brother didn’t pay his taxes for several years; he had a minor heir; and he had an IRA without a beneficiary. It was just kind of a nightmare. There were times when, to be honest? I got a little snippy with the attorney I’m not gonna lie. But I appreciate at the end of the day Atty. Ward had patience with me and we got this thing over the finish line. I recommend Atty. Ward because he is a professional and he knows what he’s doing and at the end of the day, he cares about his clients—and his fees are EXTREMELY reasonable. Thanks, Pau. . ?? ????????
I work as a Paralegal in New Hampshire and was looking for an Attorney in Rhode Island to assist with a small probate administration. Attorney Ward was outstanding in promptly preparing the necessary documents, meeting with the family and insuring the paperwork was promptly filed. I would recommend him to anyone looking for legal assistance.
My wife Kathy and I came to Attorney Paul Ward with a somewhat complicated estate case, and the first thing he said to us was, “no worries; we’ll work through this together.” It immediately set our minds at ease, and throughout the 15-month process, Paul was always there for us with the right answer and a comforting smile. We highly recommend Paul Ward, Jr., Esq. as an excellent, extremely-competent attorney, and a person of the highest integrity. Tony and Kathy Sousa South Kingstown, RI
