I had an appointment at 11:30 they didn’t see me after 3pm. I went to Lawyer Makabi because of a recommendation, for advance parole. I went the beginning of 2024, I paid 3,000 for his fees and application. I didn’t hear from them after two months so I called to see if they mailed my application, didn’t get a response. Called and called and they said they did. In late October I called again, and again and again nothing. Finally after the 6th time got in touch with someone, they said they get back to me the next day, they didn’t I gave them extra todays before I called again. I did, they said the person it’s still not Able to give me more information. There no communication, whatsoever. Nobody informs you of anything. And when you try to get information there no one that’s answering the phone.

I had gone to Makabi out of recommendation from a friend. I was a client of his since 2020 and left 2024 because of lack of attention I’ve experienced in my case. It was a waste of my time and an extreme waste of money. As far as getting in touch with the lawyer , it seems impossible to be able to get in touch w him. We’ve constantly had to keep following up and emailing when we were unsuccessful in reaching him (which previously my daughter wrote a review on that matter and once she wrote the review she was able to push her appointment sooner and he was upset that she had written that even though it was an honest review based on their personal experience so she took it down on behalf of my wife and son who were also clients). As a lawyer I feel that it should be in their best interest to set the best options for both the client and themselves to push the case successfully but unfortunately that was not my case. We’ve waited it out , I had done all my payments and we had decided on an option which he let time pass and when I followed up months later he said he had still not done the option that I was set on doing. After 4 years of him having my case I had decided that it was best for me to find someone else so I had asked for my records and take it into my own hands and see what was best for me bc he made it seem like my case was impossible. Meanwhile many people around me w the same situation going on had already had successful outcomes. It took a while for me to get my records and again I had to constantly follow up. Now thank God and thanks to the different lawyer I was able to find, after 6 months what Makabi couldn’t do in 4 years this new lawyer I found was able to find the best solution to my case and successfully completed my case.
