I wanted to write about my positive experience using Silverman, Mack & Associates for a difficult divorce case for my father. I called almost every law firm in the Gainesville area and was met with lots of subpar responses.. some wanted monetary deposits right away, some never called me back and others after hearing the situation told me it was a lost cause. I was then referred to Josh Silverman by a coworker. I called and explained the situation and was met right off the bat with a plan on how to help us! Josh and his paralegal, Brent worked diligently. The case lasted from October 2020 to approximately May 2021. Although we hit many bumps in the road, showed frustration and lost a bit of hope, Josh and Brent NEVER let us feel as if this case was a waste of time. My father still talks about how Josh stood up for him and said something along the lines of, “I’d rather turn in my lawyer card and stop practicing, than let my client accept this deal.” Not only was Josh stern and straight to the point during court sessions – he was hilarious and caring during our Zoom meetings. He knew how to crack jokes and definitely cared about our wellbeing and mental health. I also have to give a shout out to Brent, I won’t forget that moment over the phone where we finally found what we needed after he spent hours staring at a screen sifting through documents. My goal was to find a team who could get the job done, and I got just that! They handled our case with the upmost professionalism and also made us feel like we were friends. I also believe for the work they did, their pricing is extremely reasonable! Thank you Josh and Brent!
