I hired Mr Pennington to help me handle a closing of a property I sold. I have used him before to my satisfaction for other issues. In this latest case, I followed Pennington's advice throughout the process which was a weird hassle for a variety of reasons, so much so, I was looking for a way out of the sale. When the closing exceeded the 60 day mark by one day, I thought it may be my opportunity to stop the sale. I consulted Mr Pennington that morning before the close, and he advised that it would be okay, saying, "What are they going to do, sue you?" Yes! the buyers filed suit, and that cost me over $3700.00, plus the $450 fees charged by Mr Pennington and ended in me selling. I followed his advice throughout the process, and ended being sued. In the past, I gave Mr Pennington a five star review. I retracted my 5 star recommendation because Mr. Pennington refused to accept responsibility for his failures and consulted a lawyer himself to make it seem like I was being unreasonable, when he knows he made a mistake, and I was going to allow him a chance to fix it.

Stephen Pennington has been extraordinarily helpful with all of our estate needs. He listens well, is patient, thorough, and honest. We cannot thank him enough for all of the support he provides.

Called in for services, was told I would get a call back, three hours later no call back, reached out again and he asked who I was calling for I said Steve the attorney at law and he said for what ? Very loudly and he sounded very frustrated I won’t be having him handle two of my probate cases, for a judgment and estate probably missed out on an easy 3k.
