One star is an understatement on how Mr. Dawson handled my case. I paid the retainer including the fee to electronically file the motion. I collected and sent all my custody and parenting time documents to him. I also sent my CPS report regarding my ex husband. Prior to filing the motion he called and was on the phone for less than 5 minutes asking me questions that I assumed was going to be used in court…NOPE! I didn’t hear from him til 20 minutes prior to our court hearing…he asked me 2 questions pertaining to my ex which again I thought he was going to use in court…NOPE again. After the 2 questions we was off the phone. No discussion about expectations or anything. The decision from the judge went towards my ex. Mr. Dawson was so focused on making my ex pay all of his back child support or a lump some deposit that it made the situation worse with the judge. I did not file due to child support but regarding the safety of my children due to his reckless and neglectful behavior. Also too my case is in Michigan but I moved to Indiana so I guess he felt that he had to put little effort since I’m out of state. I had another court date coming up and he sent a letter that if I wanted to use him again I had to come up with another $500. For what??? He didn’t do $1500 worth of work the first case so why another $500?? I asked for an itemized invoice of services rendered and was completely ignored. I would not recommend anyone using him.

I hIred Dawson Family Law with a minimal budget looking for help with getting my visitations with my son on a weekly basis. What I can tell you is this firm does not mess around, David Dawson cut right to the chase.I would most definitely use them again if needed and I would highly recommend Dawson Family Law to my family and friends.Great service and Great job done.
